{ Pesto Pasta Sauce }
An easy weeknight meal or side, we cook up this dish often with our garden leafy greens. Beginning with this kale pesto recipe adding just a couple more steps yields an easy-to-make creamy sauce, that everyone will love!

Pesto Pasta Sauce
Servings: 6 people
Ingredients
- 2 cup kale pesto (see link above)
- 1 clove garlic, minced (or finely chopped garlic scape)
- 1/2 cup light cream
- 1/3 cup reserved pasta water
- salt + pepper to taste
- 1 box (700g) pasta
Instructions
- Cook pasta in large pot of boiling, salted water.
- Meanwhile, in medium frying pan over low heat, add pesto and garlic. Heat and stir.
- Add cream, bring to simmer.
- Once pasta is cooked, scoop out 1/3 cup of the pasta water (before draining) and add directly to the sauce. Drain pasta.
- Toss noodles with sauce, stirring to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Serve sprinkled with parmesan.
